Lots of mixed media. Textures are important along with line quality- but no two are the same. Does not have to be exact.
Any media can be used. Ink, pencil, paint, digital, anything. Usually in dynamic poses- not just straight up and down.
Even collage can be used (middle image). A lot of qualities are suggested, not drawn exactly.
